They don’t take outside prescriptions or even prescriptions from doctors that recommended them. Very frustrating. I’ve never been refused by anyone ever when it comes to outside prescription and I’ve been wearing glasses for over 30 yrs!! They did refer me to another place, which was nice. But I won’t recommend them even though they were recommended to me by my Opthamologist in Spokane.

Dr. Hoehn is kind, knowledgeable and professional. Simply a great experience.

Optometrist was nice but gave me the wrong prescription, I use my glasses just as much as my contacts but for some reason they made the glasses a weaker prescription. The optometrist also did examinations like it was 1995. The reception staff were rude and unhelpful when I asked for assistance filling out insurance information. They were difficult about excepting my military insurance as well. if you are a local they probably will treat you fine, but if you are a college student I suggest using a different office.

They were great with my kids, and made the whole process stress free, from insurance to picking out glasses. They are our eye doctors.

The short answer is, give us a call at (208) 882-3434, and we'll be happy to give you an accurate estimate of what your eye-exam will cost. The longer answer is: that will depend on the type of exam, and your medical or vision insurance provider. Insurance companies treat medical eye exams, and vision exams differently. It's a bit confusing, but we've got some more details on this on our website: https://moscowfamilyeye.com/eye-exams/ If either your vision or medical eye exam is covered by your insurance provider, that cost is generally set by your insurance, and the amount you'll be responsible for is decided by your plan, and the portion of your deductible you may have already met. If you're a cash-pay patient, our vision exams start at $150, but that cost will vary with the type of exam, as well as any testing, or additional services you need during the course of your visit.
