You won’t even know what’s happening to your family member. They don’t answer the phone called over a dozen times. Very close to reporting to the police. Doesn’t see right …

Hard to get anyone to answer the phones at night, the food is horribly disgusting, they have a lot fill-in employees that aren’t regular employees - so they have no rapport with patients for the most part, and the care itself- my mom developed a extremely almost raw rash (in an area I can’t mention) that she did not have when she was sent there from the hospital. There were a few very nice and approachable Staff members, but for the most part everybody just added like it was another job that they didn’t really like. At one point, and employee told my mother (patient) that helping her change her TV channel because my mother couldn’t see in the dark - was not her job and walked out of the room. Highly recommend that you do not send your family member or friend to this facility ever! Karen B.

As everywhere they are short staffed and that isn't their fault. People try their best. My 1 star rating is because my grandmother was released during the middle of a covid outbreak they are having. They forced me to go into the building twice during this and they sent my grandmother home without having covid tested her for 6 days. She was an asymptomatic carrier. Now my spouse, my two children and I all have covid. My spouse and I are very sick, we have autoimmune diseases. My children have autism and are at risk for complications. We have lived in a state of quarantine for over 2 years but the carelessness of this facility gave us covid. This could have been avoided if they had given her a PCR test prior to releasing her home. Now she's home alone and I'm very sick and in danger and she'sin danger. In addition they put all the home health staff at risk as well. I asked 3 people there to please test her before releasing her due to my high risk and being her caregiver. They didn't do it.

My stars are negative but you can’t leave a review with touching 1. Please read and protect your family !!!!!! Approximately 1/10/2022 my grandfather came in to McKinley Park for rehabilitation. My father was only allowed to see him the first day when he went there and afterwords said we would have to visit through glass. The day the 49ers won the playoffs I was headed over to see my grandfather even if it was through glass my father called to make sure staff would let me in and they said that he fell hours before and they had taken to the emergency at Kaiser, they never contacted my father to tell him. I FaceTime my grandpa every day. One of the days he told me that he had slipped and fell in the bathroom, he was afraid to tell the staff, he said the floor in the bathroom was always wet there’s a leak. I told him we need to tell staff but he said “they will never let him out of there.” My grandfather was scheduled to come home 2/25/2022 just 2 days after his fall, but he tested positive for COVID, my grandpa two days later was sent by ambulance with COVID pneumonia and he was put on hospice a week later. He had been in Kaiser since 12/27/2022 and he went straight to McKinley rehabilitation an employee there gave him COVID and they sent him to the hospital in someone else’s clothes without his cell phone or his glasses. My grandfather died 2/5/2022 from COVID and other underlining health issues. If there are any other families that have experienced this same trauma please post a review with your email address so that I can contact you and we can work together to get justice for our loved ones!!!!!
