Steer Clear!!!! Avoid at all costs!!! This experience at Lilian August is a bit of a smoke in mirrors show. While the design community laughs behind their backs they pretend to have great customer service and products. We were so psyched to work with their design team on our new house (before we saw behind the kimono). We wish we never walked in their showroom! We spent over 20k on furniture from their Westport showroom and were completely misled about the quality of their products. Nor only were they misrepresented, we paid extra for insurance and yet the insurance company can’t do their work because Lilian August won’t respond to them. The numbers on their website do not work, the numbers for the showrooms do not work and their products are sub par. Do not recommend.

This store was aways a personal favorite. Sadly, they don't seem to have weathered the Covid storm very well. Not only are there fewer things to buy (if not looking for furniture), NOTHING can be exchanged or returned. I don't think they will continue to stay in business and one store in my town has already closed. It feels like they are desperate for cash.

Love the store and the style of the furniture. A bit pricey, but the designs are definitely unique!
