When you’re visiting a new place with your family, you don’t necessarily look for the best food when choosing a restaurant. You may look for activities (like a pool table or corn hole) or food that works for your most pickiest eaters….but the reviews of Jax did not reflect the experience my family of 4 had this evening. The food was DELICIOUS, esp the blackened haddock fish wraps (in lettuce!). The old bay wings and maple siricha wings were also quite good. (My 13 year old liked them better than the Buffalo wings). The manager Kaigo (spelling?) as well as all the wait and bar staff were so nice! Plus, there was live music played by Jenny Porter, which just added to the awesome ambiance and the terrific experience we had this evening at Jax!!

The bouncer was unnecessarily aggressive. And I am twice his size. Weird experience. Will never go back.

Great service, great local beer selection. Kid friendly. Try the chicken Bahn Mi sandwich!
