Currently WRTA is not charging for rides, however during normal operation, a single ride is $1.75 ($1.60 using CharlieCard), or $4.50 for a One-day (8 rides) pass. Fees are reevaluated every 6 months or so, so be sure check therta.com for updates.
Last I heard, fares will continue to be suspended until the end of August and will be reevaluated in September. Be sure to check therta.com for announcements and changes.
