Make sure you look at your parking spot zone number! I didn’t realize how huge the lot was until coming back (and struggling to find my car). The shuttles to the terminal run frequently and I never had to wait more than a minute or two to catch one. It took about 15 minutes to ride from the parking lot to the ferry terminal.

No reservations needed. Yet the earlier you are there, the better, in order to get a ticket. The reservations are primarily needed if you intend on traveling with your vehicle on the ferry.

Palmer Parking Lot in Falmouth is where I park. Its 15 dollars a day in the summer and has a free shuttle to the ferry. No restrictions on length of stay from what I have seen
It can cost about $100 if that included some weekend days, which are more. I suggest you look at the ferry parking website for a list of daily charges. I'm not sure if parking rates change depending on when you travel.
