This lovely grounds in beautiful rural Pennsylvania is a respectable honorable place to rest. Dignified services compassionately delivered provide a sense of peace when your loved one is resting here.

Impeccably kept and such a dignified setting for our veterans. I'm so glad I chose this resting place for my husband who was very military loyal throughout his life. Indiantown Gap cemetery staff were wonderful and gracious at a time of grief.

Great cemetery for vets. They place flowers and flags out for the holidays. Nice veteran memorial. Grounds are always well kept.

This is absolutely a great tribute to the veterans who served our country. This cemetery is serene and impeccably well kept. There are US flags lining the entrance and also state flags placed in the order they became a state. There is both …

Fresh cut flowers can be left all year round and it doesn't matter what color/type. Artificial flowers can only be left based on whether or not it is lawn mowing season.
Veterans, their spouse and in some cases, dependent children under their care.
What a thoughtful gesture. Can you post on here if you can and price If you can.
To clarify Jake, as Rose said, not just Army, but any qualifying member of the armed services.
Yes just go to their website there's a link to 'daily burial schedule".
Yes, there is a building not far from the entrance where you can search by decedent's name, date of birth, and date of death. You don't need to go inside a building to do your search.
I believe so, but I believe you can check with your Funeral Director or on their website.
Yes they can be buried together
Very user-friendly staff there. Worth it to go see them.
They have a machine outside the office door...you just put in the name of the veteran
Yes. There are funeral home costs, however, so it is not totally free. You can visit there anytime and they have a nice guide. You can also contact the VA for details. It's the last great benefit left for the Veterans!
You can leave a memory leaf, but they do clean everything up and take away all old flowers ect... My dad is in the wall also. I placed flowers yesterday but they will be cleaned up at some point. I never get anything too expensive. I hope this helped. Sorry for your loss.
Yes absolutely my parents were buried together my mother passed 19 yrs before my father and I did them both together it's so beautiful out there
Vets from all branches are buried at Ft. Indiantown gap. They have columbariums, standard plots, and a scattering garden. I would check with the VA to see which services he/she is eligible for since it varies.
Don't know I only deliver head stones
Yes they are and will be.. Atleast, that's been my experience everytime I've visited my family members.
Contact the cemetery. They might have certain rules.
Check the website at indiantown Gap national cemetery for rules and regulations. Or call them Monday at 717-865-5254
Not that I am aware of because Indiantown gap is in Lebanon county and they didn't go Green yet.
For a veteran it's free, with an Honorable discharge. You need a DD -214
It's rather large so if you aren't sure where the person is you'll need to go in and look it up which can take some time but you should be able to do it all in less than an hour
Check in with the office. They will tell you where your love one is, to shorten the search, and you can stay until sunset! Now is a perfect time to visit. There is wreaths at all the graves!
Yes my father is buried there and there is flower cone you see a bin for trash and cones for the placement next to the Head Stone
No, I've done funerals in snow storms.
We just burried my father 2 months ago. I asked this same question & was told No. They said that the funeral hold provided them with my mom's info and it's registered in their system already. They said they burry the 1st person far enough down to fit a 2nd casket. So when the time comes you just call and they prepare for the burial. No charges. Hope this info is correct and helps.
January 26, 2019 at 9am operation clean sweep begins. They say they recycle them.
Ceremony starts at 12pm and the wreath laying is after the ceremony
How would I get mother flowers to my mother and father there from New York City? Could you please give me a number?
Yes they do, Generally within an hour and a 1/2. We went to a local restaurant to eat and then went back and he was buried with all the flowers on top of his grave. Date told us it would be 60 days until the headstone is put there. It is a beautiful place and the service is extremely moving and there's lots of things to look at throughout the whole cemetery
She is entitled to be interned with you. Check the VA.gov website for additional information.
