No. I am in a mental health crisis. I am not being taken seriously. At all. Lisa is my primary care provider here but recently they switched from Kayla to a lady named Val . She isn’t taking my mental health seriously. My ocd is off the charts this has been a couple weeks now I have been begging to get an appointment . They work me in and then cancel my appointment this has now happened twice. My mental health is bad right now and this is very disappointing the way Val handles it. I don’t know what else to say . I’m fed up with the whole situation.

3 of our 4 appointments so far have been scheduled in morning hours and still we have had to wait more than an hour past our scheduled appointment times to be seen for each of those 3 visits. For each visit with Dr. Iqbal so far, he has spent less than 10 minutes evaluating my son before sending him on his way. If this is the norm here, how in the world can you already be this far behind with your patients??? We understand that this is a busy practice, but OUR TIME MATTERS and if you are unable to manage your scheduled appointments more accurately than this, you need to taper down your patient list in order to have a more manageable workload and patient flow. This is completely unprofessional, unimpressive, and unacceptable.

I’d been a patient here for almost 20 years. Seeing Lisa. As they grew, so did the issues I had getting appointments and my prescriptions refilled. The past 12 years, I have continued to drive three hours for my appointments. Almost every other appointment was canceled, or needed to be moved because Lisa was not going to be in the office. This making it more difficult to get prescriptions refilled. Recently, I had an appointment scheduled for 2 o’clock. The office called me at 12:50 left me a voicemail asking if I could do a phone appointment instead. 1 o’clock they shut all lines down as they go out for lunch. 2 o’clock my appointment rolls around and I can’t get through. They considered this a missed appointment. I was dropped as a client. As many times as Lisa with my appointment, last minute I don’t understand why I would be dropped as a patient after 20 years. I highly do not recommend going here. As when you take medication for your mental health those need to be refilled in a timely manner. They have been multiple times where my prescriptions were literally hung over my head, for payment for a missed appointment. That was technically canceled by my provider. Putting me into spirals that could have caused me to take my own life. It happened more times than I could count. I know you’re asking why did I still continue to go here. Because in the part of the state I live it is very hard to find a psychiatrist. The front desk is rude, they have gone through management time overtime. Find another clinic.

I am a current patient of Brittany Mitchell's and have had the worst experience with her prescription coordinator, Christina. As a matter of fact she just rudely hung up on me for the second time today. I have always dealt with Kayla in the past and today Christina answered the phone with "what?". I explained to her what the pharmacy was saying and what I needed from them to have my prescription approved that Dr. Mitchell called in for me 3 days ago. Christina proceeds to tell me it is nothing on her end, as she looks at all of her faxes coming through and the pharmacy needs to "check themselves". I told her I was just relaying what the pharmacy said to tell them and I wasn't sure, I was just doing what they asked of me and needed the prescription before they closed for the weekend. Christina continues to berate me, not offering any help other than me call my pharmacy bck - to ask or tell them what she would not explain to me, and I was at a loss. I asked her to stop being so rude to me, I was just trying to see what needed to be done for the medicine to be filled. To which she said "whatever". She said she would call the pharmacy and hung up on me. She called back just now to tell me the pharmacy had the insurance approval and they should fill the prescription. I asked her do I just wait to hear back from the pharmacy or just go back and pick it up, to which she replied "that's up to you" and hung up on me again. I plan on calling the office manager at 2pm when the office re opens, and ask that I never deal with Christina again. Nothing I asked warranted her nonchalant, non caring, unprofessional demeanor. I definitely will let it be known that I will not deal with her in the future, there will have to be someone else who can help me moving forward. Christina sounded as immature as she acted on the phone, and as a patient, we should NOT be hung up on for any reason.
