There's a British driver came a few years ago with a Formula 3 car. I think it's around 1:35 if I'm not wrong.
Hello Bill, We were not granted a permit by the town to allow spectators. So whether or not folks can come and watch is the decision of the organization who rents our facility. When they rent the facility from us, that decision is theirs. If you would like to view a certain event, I'd suggest contacting the renting party of that event so you may get on their guest list. Hope this helps. Regards . . .
Hi Greg - We do rent the track to motorcycle groups on specific days such as "Tony's Track Days", "Fishtail Riding School", and "Penguin Riding School" who offer rider training. Check them out! The events are listed on our calendar on our website also. http://palmermotorsportspark.com/Events.aspx?ID=div8
Hi Mike! While it's a respected and enjoyable discipline of motorsport, there are not any plans for drag racing facilities at our venue. In fact, visitors to our circuit quickly realize just how difficult the natural terrain would make it for anyone to lay out a long enough straight track and shutdown area. Thanks for your question though!
Hi Mason! When organizations rent the facility, who can attend (and who has access to certain locations within) is generally up to them. We're working to improve the paths that follow the perimeter of the course both inside and outside of the track so that those who need to get different vantage points can do so more comfortably, easily, and safely. If you have a specific event date in mind, we'd recommend getting in touch with that particular organization to be granted permission for photography.
Hello - Yes, and for the current fee structure please check our website. Thank you.
Price to drive depends on the club. $350+ is the norm. Spectator policies vary by club as well. Some are free. Check motorsportreg.com
Hello Ramon - The Town of Palmer did not grant our request for a spectator permit when we were in construction. Some of the groups we rent the facility to do allow observers however, all SCCA events for instance. The best thing for you is to check the rental group and inquire of them if they allow observers. Hope this helps
You can drive your car on this track and yes, there is a fee. It is hard to get information about what goes on here as other organizations rent the track and the main website doesn't show who. You need to look into the people who rent the track like SCCA, SCDS, MASS TUNE. I'm not an expert but I the same question so I just drove my car down there to check it out. I ended up doing a ride along then had them check out my car and did 5 laps on the last run of the day. I had a blast, good luck.
Hello Mary - Thank you for your inquiry. I'm sorry but we do not have a karting track at the present time. Hope you can find one for him, karting is a great deal of fun. Regards . . .
Some events may charge for entry, but Palmer isn't much of a spectator track, I don't think there's any place to sit. 90% of the track is inaccessible for spectators.
Hello Kenneth - Here are the school dates for the rest of the 2019 season = 5/31, 6/28, 7/19, 8/9, 8/30, 9/13, 10/11, and 11/1 We hope to see you here!
I ran it with COM and they did a tech inspection which I'm sure satisfied any requirements the track had. I.e. no major leaks, wheels not falling off, no loose gear in the car, proper safety equipment, etc.
Yes you can it's called track night in America Once a month you get 4 20 minute sessions
Hi Josh, yes you can drive your Scion tC on the track with us or with a local car club (COMSCC, SCDA, SCCA, NASA, etc). Thank you for your interest in us!
Yes even a bicycle
A nice grill 😉
Hello Kristen - We do have complimentary WiFi throughout the paddock area but do not host a blog for driver's. Thank you!
HI Jason. Thanks for asking. We don't have spectator events, but yes there is parking on site for attendees and guests of each event.
Thank you for your inquiry. Yes motorcycles are permitted. We do not offer motorcycle track days or other programs ourselves but we do rent the track to groups that do offer riding programs at Palmer Motorsports Park. HTH.
