DISSATISFIED! About eight years ago, we hired Carls for a new roof, siding and several windows for our summer home. All work was completed to our satisfaction. In January 2022 we moved our primary home near Toms River. The new house needed a new roof. and kitchen window. Since we already did business with Carls, we requested a quote from them. The salesman came to our home and after inspection gave us a $14,000 quote for the roof and $800+ for the window. He also explained if we referred a new roof customer, we would receive $100. Our friends Gerald and Susan were visiting while the salesman was present. They agreed to have the salesman give them a quote for a new roof on their summer home. The salesman said we would receive the $100 referral AFTER our friend's job was completed and paid in full. The $100 was to be paid in August. I called in August and was told the construction manager was on vacation but Carls had all our referral information. The following week I spoke to the construction manager. He said I was not eligible because we were supposed to complete the online referral form before the job was completed. He REFUSED to give us the $100 we rightfully earned. We weren't given correct instructions to submit the referral info and lost not only the $100 but faith in Carls.

Met with Phil, he was great. Gave me a quote and different options. Said it would take 3 weeks from signing the contract for work to begin and they were spot on to the day. Finished the work in 1 day and did a great job! Highly recommend using carls!
