I live locally and my parents just drove from Southern CT, to Hoffman Honda for a new car. They love the area, the people and were hopeful for a good experience. I am so embarrassed and frustrated that I suggested they come to you. I have almost 20 years in customer service experience and I am very disappointed in how they were treated. There was a major miscommunication in pricing and the salesperson, who I also met at the first visit, completely misled them. They showed up today and were expected to pay 12k DOWN on a lease! Who would ever do that, it makes no sense. The manager got involved and the compromise was abysmal. I don't care how much cars are in demand right now, this is appalling.

This review is at least a year overdue. Charles I. deserves the biggest shout out and praise and is thee reason for this five star review. I made an appointment to see a car minutes before their closing time via phone. I got there the next morning under the impression that it was being held for me and the car was gone. I was devastated. A few hours after leaving, Charles called me and let me know the car was still up for grabs. I put a deposit down over the phone with him and purchased the car 2 days later. He was patient during my process and extremely helpful. Went above and beyond and thanks to him actually caring, I now have the car I've always wanted.

My 2017 Honda Hrv with white pearl had a factory paint problem which was under warranty as it is a known problem. Hoffman repainted the roof under warranty in 2020. The problem came back two years later 2022 and Hoffman states it is not under warranty anymore. Hoffman clearly didn’t paint the entire roof correctly as they told me they would. Furthermore during the repair my car got a large door dig in the service center. I am very fussy about my car and it has no door dings at all. I would never recommend this dealership for not standing behind its repair and doing a poor repaint on my car. I may never buy a Honda again but I certainly won’t buy or service one at Hoffman.
