I bought my 2012 Mustang GT from them a little over a month ago and have loved the car since I got it, the guys at the dealership were easy to work with, they let me test drive and get a good feel for the condition of the car, the car had been detailed before I got it and still looked and smelled like a new car. Of course with the cars age and mileage it needed a few things maintenance wise but they in no way tried to mask or hide anything with the car, very straight forward and honest people. I highly them if they have something that catches your eye.

My car buying experience was fast and efficient. I had a bank approval in 30 minutes, walked out with a car that was immaculate on the inside. HOWEVER, after owning the car less than 5 months, I lost total control of the vehicle while driving on 85. I couldn't brake or steer properly. It's amazing I was able to get off the interstate safely. Turns out the wheel hub assembly was rusted and snapped completely off. I've owned the car 1 year and have spent well over $2,000 on major repairs (not including tires, alignments, brakes, etc). Turns out the whole underbody of the car is rusted so severely that I'm having to replace everything, piece by piece. Anyone who put this vehicle on a lift can see the severe water/salt damage. A mechanic showed me the severity of the rust and I was in shock. It's been one problem after another. They can't even properly align the vehicle due to the bolts being stuck from the rust. I was sold a lemon. This vehicle was unsafe to drive and should have never been sold! Shame on this dealership!! UPDATE: Here it is 2022, I've made over $5k in repairs, and the car is completely worthless. Made my last car payment and then had to scrap the car, because the head gasket blew, and it would have cost more to fix it than it was worth. This was a purchase I wholeheartedly regret, and will NEVER purchase from American Automotive again, and neither should you! I 100% believe they knew about the severe rust damage and failed to disclose this to me, taking advantage of a young woman purchasing a car alone.
