I have been a loyal customer of preformance auto for at least ten years. I had always found them to be reliable and fair and had referred multiple friends and family to them. Until now. I brought my jeep in for repairs a week ago, as did my parents for theirs. My parents paid for their repairs, picked up their jeep and drove it home. Once they got home they opened their trunk and found a piece of their engine sitting in the trunk. I paid for my electrical repairs and my inspection (I was told that it passed the inspection), went to go pick up my car, and found that absolutely nothing had been fixed. I then sat there for over an hour waiting for them to tell me what the next step was. Finally they told me they needed to order a part, but it was fine to drive. I was told they would call me when the part got there, but it would only be a day or two before it arrived. Its been a week. And the bottom of my car completely fell off. I have heard nothing from them regarding the part, and clearly they can't even do an inspection right. But they can cheat you out of hundreds of dollars for work that was clearly never done. Honestly, I wouldn't even trust them to touch my car ever again. And I will be making sure everyone I've ever told to trust them knows about this too. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau. Hope this helps someone else avoid making the same bad decision I made by trusting these people with my car.
