I was diagnosed with Covid pneumonia while in the ER and was admitted to the hospital for several days. I can not say enough for the wonderful care I received while I was so sick and in the hospital at Tazewell. Everyone that came in my room from Dr.'s, CNA's, Nurses, Respiratory therapists, even housekeepers, ect. They all went above and beyond giving me wonderful care and so kind to me. And offered to help or get me anything. I have never been so sick in all my life as I was during this time but if I ever need medical attention again I absolutely will go back to Carilion Tazewell Community Hospital. Yes they are a smaller hospital but bigger doesn't always mean better! Thank you all so much for all you did for me!! I greatly appreciate every one of you! You all are top notch!

They are absolutely swamped covid is bad and there really isn’t much room anywhere but today I seen first hand how hard these people work and I couldn’t imagine the stress they are under rn if your reading this say a small prayer for the health care workers at Tazewell er please and I have a new found respect for them… thank you allThank you for taking the time to comment on our hard-working staff. My friend was very sick, unable to walk unable to eat, difficulty breathing and was suffering from Covid pneumonia which he previously had but tested negative before we arrived at 6:30 PM Monday night.
