The cave is a private reserve owned by the Rockcastle Karst Conservation. It is not open to the public except for 1 time per year at open house which is usually the weekend after mother's day. It is free during that period to view the property and get a tour of the cave. If you are interested in seeing cave and learning about the history please contact Rockcastle Karst Conservatory. They also do school field trips, boy scout tours, and several other channels of volunteering to help educate people of its significance and history.
