A beautiful place to walk with family and friends. Be mindful - lots of other dogs, and no swimming permitted within 500’ of the falls, so don’t expect a swimming hole.

Absolutely stunning winter "hike". Not long but uphill the entire way.I got lucky and was the first one there Saturday and was able to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the untouched snow. Re-broke the trail and when I left the parking lot had filled up as everyone and there uncle decided to literally follow in my steps. Will absolutely come back during the summer.

This is a very pleasant and easy 0.3 mile hike of 15-20 minutes to the falls and is conveniently located right off the Kancamagus Highway. There is a parking lot at the trailhead which is generally full as this is a very popular hike. The parking lot has rest rooms, picnic tables, and a self- serve pay station as this is a fee-based site, unless you have a pass. The trail is wide, well maintained, has some elevation although benches are available for resting, nice viewing platforms, sturdy handrails and the walk is along a stream with nice views. This is a not-to-be-missed walk.
