You can call the Temple.
Good question! The temple is different than a normal meetinghouse, or chapel. Meetinghouses are where Latter-day Saints attend weekly Sunday services. The temple is a special building where sacred promises are made between us and God, such as marriages. Temples are the most holy places on Earth to Latter-day Saints, and are beautiful and clean, representing Heaven. Because it is such a special space, people who enter must have a recommend signed by a Bishop to indicate they are living a Christ lifestyle and have spiritually prepared themselves to enter and make serious commitments to God. All people of any faith or group are welcome to visit the temple grounds. There are many regular chapels in the Hartford area where anyone is welcome to attend Sunday services. These are different from Catholic mass - the congregation takes bread and water during the Sacrament (like the Eucharist of Communion) and then previously assigned speakers from the congregation give Christ-centered messages.
Iris, as Mike mentioned, everyone is invited to church services at a meeting houses or a ward buildings that are all over the state, country and world. In our temples, sacred ordinances are performed by faithful Saints whom hold a recommend from their Bishop. All of God's Children are invited to be worthy. Hope this helps.
Love, joy, peace, long suffering and gentleness. It is about becoming better...I would see on mormon.org about questions, alot of FAQs are there. I have enjoyed worshiping here and at a local chapel

Yes, endowment sessions on Wednesday and Friday (9:30am and 11:30am) and Saturday (7am, 8:30am, 10am and 11:30am)
Sorry for that, I think most LDS people are very open and willing to share and discuss commonalites and differences of belief.
