Springwell nurses don't listen and are very degrading
Elizabeth Belmonte
We have had a poor experience with this company. They never return our calls. We leave countless messages and this firm never returns our calls. I am not sure if they are still working or not.

I had a collapsing of my airways and my right ear. The episode begun with a chest pressure symptom and my right ear shutting off, followed by extreme dizziness. I like your website and would probably benefit with your visits and services.

For a while, I thought it was great as my chronic illness at times renders me quite helpless to do anything. Was due for a critical procedure at Newton-Wellesley and had to cancel because Springwell screwed up what they had guaranteed as medical escort. Help our your fellow citizens and get this place defunded by the state. Update August 20, 2021: Springwell continues to be a nightmare. For 4 days, I have requested they set up a pickup for me so I can get to appointment Aug. 23 at Brigham. Somehow, they cannot figure out that this is important. They have been absolutely horrific since I became so disabled. Why they receive funding I do not know. Start a new agency with new personnel.

Springwell isn't a residence; it's a nonprofit organization that helps older adults stay in their own homes by helping them with setting up the services they need.
Hi Jack - Thank you so much for your inquiry. While homemaking and chore services can both be part of a Springwell care plan, you would need to call the office and speak to someone in our Information and Consultation Department to learn more and potentially set up an assessment for services. You can reach us M-F, 9-5 at 617-926-4100. There is also more information about the services we offer, and some basic eligibility information at www.springwell.com/service/in-home-services/
Hi Dianne - Springwell is an independent, non-profit organization. We hold contracts with the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs to offer services as an Aging Services Access Point and as an Area Agency on Aging. We also hold contracts with a variety of insurance companies and health care entities to provide a similar set of services. Finally, we fundraise from local corporations, foundations, businesses, and individuals to cover gaps between the government support we receive and the cost of providing services to vulnerable members of our communities.
No, they don't.
Springwell's CEO is Ruth Beckerman-Rodau.
