We are so grateful to the Edison on the Charles staff for being so accommodating to our family’s needs. We love our apartment! The leasing office (specifically Kristen) took really good care of us and answered all of our questions promptly. They made our move from Michigan so easy. We also love that the place has so many advanced appliances and has an overall clean look. There are a lot of places in the lobby to study or just sit and read a book. There’s a few nice gardens to walk through outside and the commuter rail/bus line are only a few minutes walk away! There are also so many good restaurants and the cinema literally steps away. We are so happy living here!

We had a great experience all around at the Edison. We had never lived in a large, luxury complex before, so I was a bit nervous about it, but it was lovely. It was surprisingly quiet for us, and in the instances it wasn't, the front office staff were quick to assist. The maintenance staff was incredibly prompt and professional, as well, and we truly didn't run into any big issues during the year we lived there. I was really nervous that they would increase the rent substantially for year two, and I was surprised that they didn't. (It increased, but not by the 15-20% I was afraid of.) Cam in the front office was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our time there and is a wonderful manager. Truly, too, the location is fabulous - walking distance to movies, great food and drinks, and a 5-minute walk to and from the commuter rail to get into the city. The scenery along the river is gorgeous, too - perfect for walks and observation of local wildlife. If we hadn't needed to move for work, we would have happily stayed at the Edison!

I only give two stars due to the lack of sound proofing in my unit. There is a constant thud across my ceiling from the neighbor above. I am woken up every morning by this and it is constant throughout the day until late at night. The next door neighbor can also be heard watching tv and even talking through the wall until 3am at times. At dinner I once heard the neighbor walk across my ceiling, heard the water go through the pipes in the wall from the neighbor using the bathroom, and then heard them walk back across the ceiling. It might also sound unbelievable but I can hear when a neighbor opens or closes their window shade. It is oddly very loud. Lastly, the nightclub across the street from this building plays music so loud that it can be heard in my unit until 2am every night on the weekends and holidays. I do not know if this is consistent with the rest of the building but it has been my experience leasing an "affordable" unit here. It is unfortunate because everything else is great but the noise makes me not enjoy living here.

Jennifer and Cory are doing an outstanding job at Edison. I highly recommend living here at the Edison. Jennifer goes out of her way for over-the-top creative events each month. I never lived in a building that did that. It's not your basic last-minute event. With maintenance ( Cory) is always happy to assist with any work order I put in. Also the noise complaints it's apartment-style living you might hear your neighbor time to time. So far no issue for me. Over best community in Waltham area. This building is a place you can call home and have pride in. Thank you!!
