I called 10 stores before finding Ve’Lace. Shadia was beyond wonderful from 1st phone call to try-on to ordering & receiving my dress. She was able to get the exact dress I was searching for within weeks of 1st phone call. Placed order in November & dress arrived in Jan. My issue is not w/ Shadia or her team. They were beyond wonderful & fantastic. The seamstress working with the store is where my issues lie. 1st appt. was w/ the seamstress on 5/13. We pinned & discussed what needed to be done. I left my dress with them, paid for alterations & made 2nd fitting for 6/24, (ended up needing to reschedule to 7/1, the team was very understanding.) The seamstress was in possession of my dress for over a month. I expected not all, but most of the alterations to be done. 2nd appt. came & I was dismayed. It didn’t seem like she did anything. Pins for the bustle were still on there, hem hadn’t been done, sleeves were not attached/altered. I asked what she did since the last appointment & she said she did the straps, had sewed in the small modesty piece. I was disappointed but tried to be understanding. I know it's a busy bridal season. I reiterated my wedding was 26 days away & I really needed this done or very close to done (read as very minor things if absolutely needed) at final fitting. Made 3rd/Final appt. for 7/15. I was nervous but was assured by the seamstress everything would be done or close to done. The week of the 15th arrives & I get a call asking if I could change my appt. to earlier in the day, unfortunately I could not due to an appt. w/ my Venue and was told my appt. would be kept. 7/15 rolls around and I start heading over to Ve'Lace for my appt. I get a call saying the seamstress would not be able to come in, and they asked if I could reschedule to the next afternoon. Which was not possible due to my work schedule. I was irritated at this point, now 12 days from my wedding. Made the appt. for the morning of July 16. I took my maid of honor with me. I put my dress on & to my horror, my dream dress was a WRECK. The hem was crooked, the sleeve attachments were not staying on (supposed to be detachable, we used snaps to do this) I know its a wedding dress and you can’t be all crazy with your arms, but when I can’t move my arms a single inch w/o the snaps detaching that's a pretty decent problem when the wedding is 12 days away. The bodice had a piece that looked ripped up and not sewn back down. I was DEVASTATED. I sobbed in the car after going back & forth w/ the seamstress about what was wrong. I’m not joking when I say it looked like she waited until the very last minute to make my alterations. At this point I & my MOH no longer trusted the seamstress to fix/alter anything etc. Which is really upsetting b/c I paid almost 1k for alterations & I didn’t even recognize my dress. We agreed for her to put a running stitch into the sleeves & I would be taking home the dress that day. MOH & I planned to bring it to a separate seamstress to see what could be done to at least make it feel like my dream dress again. MOH spoke to Shadia who was very understanding and told my MOH she would speak to the seamstress and see what could be done about some sort of partial refund (which we then learned apparently the seamstress does not actually work for the store, she just works with them. Wish I had known prior to my 1st Appt). Shadia went out of her way to try & make things better for me, graciously gifting me a jewelry piece as my “something new”, but I just had no faith in the seamstress. I did take my dress to a separate seamstress, who fixed everything the way I had asked for, within a week of my wedding. She charged pennies compared to the cost of what I paid the seamstress at Ve’Lace. She said that she wasn’t sure what the other seamstress did b/c the hem was not even done properly. Very upsetting after almost 1k in alterations & I still had to pay extra for someone else to do it properly. (No refund to date) Would 100% buy here again, & encourage you to do the same. But please use someone else for alterations.

Terrible customer service, one of the most rude and disrespectful employees I’ve ever heard about. Essentially making my fiancé come home crying. I wouldn’t recommend the place to my worst enemy. The saleswoman Mary-Jo apparently needs some additional training regarding customer service. Looking through these reviews I’m not very surprised. If you want your beautiful fiancé to come home crying and sad then this is the perfect place for you!

Can't say enough great things about Ve'Lace Bridal! Backstory: I did not have the typical experience here. My cousin had purchased her dress from Ve'Lace a few years prior and I went with her - she had a great experience and highly recommended it. I'm a plus-size bride so there was a lot of anxiety surrounding wedding dress shopping. I did a lot of online research to find local bridal shops that would have a large variety of sample dresses in my size to try on in store. This research led me to a few other shops. Ve'Lace did not mention plus sizes on their website which ended in me not initially making an appointment here. To be honest, I'm not familiar with their section of plus size dresses in the shop however, I would recommend that information regarding sample sizes carried in store be added to the FAQs page for future plus size brides. At one of my other appointments, I found THE dress. I loved it, got "that feeling" however, it was about 5 sizes too small and could not come close to closing in the back. This dress was just under 2k and for a purchase that big for a day this big, I wanted to make sure I loved the back as well and could see what the back would actually look like. I reached out to that store and asked if they could order a sample/loaner of that dress in my size or closer to my size from the designer and they gave me a BS response saying "they're only able to borrow whatever size they have available and they are usually not plus size options but you loved this dress and should order it because I'm confident you will like it even more in your size". This led me to the designers website to research shops in my area that may carry the dress or have a sample in my size. I reached out to many shops who said they didn't have it in store and that they could order me the dress to purchase but not to loan. This is where Ve'Lace comes into the picture: After I reached out on the website, Shadia, the owner at Ve'Lace, let me know she could order a try-on gown for me in my size and it would be in the shop for me to try on in two weeks. BOOM. That's the response I expected from the original shop - willing to work with me and accommodate me to make sure that I'm happy with my 2 thousand dollar purchase. I had to pay the shop's $50 appointment fee which would be applied to the cost of the dress once/if I purchased and I was happy to pay that fee. Shadia was incredibly kind and accommodating and ordered the loaner in the exact size AND color way that I wanted. We made an appointment and I was good to go. The loaner dress came in sooner than expected and Shadia even called me to let me know that it arrived safely, looked beautiful, and offered to move my appointment up sooner if I wanted. Fast forward to my appointment: A few days before my appointment, Mary Jo (the stylist I was assigned to) called me to check in, get the backstory, hear a little bit about me and what I was looking for, and let me know what a stunner my dress was! On the day of my appointment I couldn't wait to get into the dress. Mary Jo was kind, got to know me a bit more, and knew I was eager to get into my dress. She let me know I had her for the full hour and a half and said I could try on other dresses if I wanted to as well. As I figured, once I put on my dress I knew it was the one and there was no need to try on other dresses - Mary Jo helped me find a veil that matched perfectly and I said yes to the dress. Mary Jo even dimmed the lights in the shop to make sure I could get the full effect and see what it would look like at nighttime. Shadia even said that they loved the dress so much they're going to buy one to have in the store full time once they send my loaner back! I'm so thankful that Ve'Lace was able to accommodate me and I was more than happy to give them my business! Thanks all!!

I went dress dress shopping at Ve’Lace on July 7th and all I can say is oh my goodness! I had an amazing time and the boutique manager Nicole was super nice and helped me find my perfect dress! She was so lovely to work with and I felt so comfortable with her! So so many dresses to choose from and it’s just absolutely beautiful! I even got to meet the owner who took my measurements Shadia and she was wonderful herself! I would recommend this place 1000%! If you need a dress go here and get it! So happy with my dress!
