Used to be great and hopping it has improved since the past few years.
Barley any exhibits excessive commercialized vendors and the only fair we have been to besides Big E that charges for parking
Between parking and admission you spend $40. Been to many other fairs this summer and all offer free parking with admission and admission is $15 or less depending on the fair. Just would be nice to see the fair be plentiful like it used to be we live in NH and the fairs up here thrive post pandemic the Topsfield fair has tanked which is sad to see. The fair grounds need to rethink how they want to operate, every fair price gouges but nothing like Topsfield fair

Been here a few times has good food, games, rides, and farm animals to see!!
It ended on Columbus Day. Its open usually the 10 days prior to Columbus Day every year. They have other events though throughout the year if you check on their website.
Once you're in, you should be able to go see the show without any extra tickets.
ALL the rides cost $ on top of admission, but seeing events & animals doesn't.
No longer can get tickets online. $20
If you go to gate 97 on rte 97 there is a family that charges $10 to park on their property!
Everything at the fair is pretty expensive this year.
Although you can still get a sausage sub for $6 over near the games!!
All days are great days they usually have things for all ages each day not check website for all scheduled event. But that's being said it's less crowded during week & eairler in day due to school and work.
This is pretty much Fair food. You will probably Not find any significant "Meal" that is dairy or gluten free. I have never seen a sign declaring a booth either.
When is opening Day parade. Where does it start? What is the route? What time does it start?

The Grand Parade will be stepping off from the Topsfield Town Common promptly at 9:00am.
The parade makes its way to the Fairgrounds for opening ceremonies at 10:00am.
hello i have 3 questions.1.if we get 3 day tickects will we get unlitmied rides.2 can we buy baby chicks.3.is there unlimited rides

I don't know the answer to any of these questions. I know that you can buy cavies and rabbits, but I don't think you can buy the chicks. You can probably talk to the people running the bird show and see if they have recommendations for where to buy baby chicks outside of the fair.
I have never heard of unlimited rides, but I rarely ever go to the rides. I know that you can buy ride tickets in the ride area, and different rides cost a different amount of tickets.
There really isn't that many rides, so it may be worth it to just walk through and see what rides you want to go on and calculate how many tickets to buy.
On Saturday, September 15, I had an accident and fell down the back stairs onto the driveway. I realize it was take-in day for Coolige Hall and I was unable to get there as I had to be taken for x-rays. Is it too late to bring my entry?

Hello, this is not the right avenue to get such a question answered. I suggest calling Topsfield Fairgrounds and getting the number of the correct person to talk to.
How much are the discount tickets??

If you have AAA you can buy discount tickets at the AAA store. If you buy the tickets at Topsfield it will be $10 for general admission.
Are you still doing elephant rides? And if so, why? They aren't barnyard animals and it's cruel!
Open till 9pm (+/-)....closing.
Entry after 9pm nightly is fee free.
Their is a website too, should you wish to read details.
However my visit was beautiful..chock-full of daredevils, music, psychotic amounts of food from every culture and ....animals.
Animals so big...everywhere.
Vegetables too...tons of them.
One...even weighing over 2000 lbs.
Yup...lots of fun.
Oh...and don't forget to catch a ride on one of the elephants.
Hope I was of some help to you.

Not for the Topsfield Fair. Prices near the fairgrounds are $10 if available and there are other lots nearby that open up for various prices if needed.
