Thank you for reaching out. So we use a series of natural stones to sharpen knives which has the benefit of giving a razor sharp edge, but the minor drawback of a possible scratch to the blade. It is not a reason to be alarmed just wanted to let you know it is a possibility. You can drop off however many knives you would like between 2:00-9:00 Tuesday-Saturday and depending on my schedule I should be able to get a few knives done each day depending on what kind of shape they are in. That being said pricing starts at $3 per knife for any knives that just need a touch up. And pricing goes up from there. If this sounds good to you please let me know when you might like to drop off.

All of our staff are masked all of the time, we adhere to the 25% capacity, we have air purifiers that can clean the air twice the size of our space every 30 minutes.

Martha, Thank you we have been asked this question quite a bit recently. As of January 2020, A Tavola became a partnership with a new Chef / Owner, while Vittorio ( who owns and runs Bistro 5) is still involved with A Tavola the restaurants are separate.
