Shoreline is beautiful. I love the long walks you can take beside the water. Sunset is absolutely gorgeous there. And it's surprisingly clean considering the amount of birds that habitate the area. I would just beware of eating in this park since the squirrels are known to be quite insistent on being fed. There seem to be options for boating but I've personally never explored those options. Really lovely though, I'd recommend a trip here!

Such a fun location with many options to choose from. I rented a single kayak; however, they offer doubles, paddle boats, canoes, and much more. This is a great place to spend the afternoon whether solo, with friends, or even a family with young children. There’s food onsite and plenty of benches and grass space for a picnic.

It has hiking, biking, kayaking, pedal boating, a small kids play area, and sailing. Rentals for boating, kayaking are available. It gets busier on weekends. Parking spots are less. Just as you enter this park on the right there is a designated kite flying area as well. This park has activities for everyone. Dogs are not allowed on the biking and walking trails.

Beautiful lake, a nice cafe, and a rental shop with all possible stuff for various entertainments on the lake - prices within 20-60 usd. The place is adored by people enjoying life and weather. Also, birds and squirrels will not let you feel lonely. Overall a positive experience.

You may launch your own vessel on Shoreline Lake. There is a daily launch fee currently for $5 per stand up paddleboard. You must collect the launch tag before entering the water from the main Boathouse office. You must also have a PFD (lifejacket) while on the lake or you may rent one from the Boathouse for $5 ea currently. There is no inspection required.

Hmm, don't know. But I did not see any signs prohibiting them (although I saw plenty of signs prohibiting dogs).

You can launch your own paddleboard (The $5 launch fee should be paid at the Boathouse before launching.). Also, everyone on the lake is required to have a life jacket, which must be Coast Guard approved. If you don't have your own, life jackets are available for rent for another $5. Sailboats may be rented from an individual that can show pcertiifcation or proof of prior knowledge that s/he sails otherwise a writtentest may be taken if one is a practical sailor. You can rent bikes from shoreline from the same spot which you can rent canoes and paddle boats
Shoreline Park is open from 6am until a half hour after sunset.
