I am extremely educated. The doctor here is a butcher. I called to confirm they would safely detox off of anxiety medication. When I went I was told by the nurse that I would. I wasn’t. While I was suffering cold Turkey off of a benzo for 8 months ,I kept asking why?! And they all said that I would be. Come to find out because it was a valid prescription that butcher would not detox me. There is not a single medical professional under the sun that would allow someone to be cut cold Turkey off a benzo. I told them the script was no longer valid. They hold you there and starve you while they bill mass health and you wait for the “available bed” Some of the employees are cool but most are just slurring from too much suboxone. The staff are gas lighters.

I have been to 5 different detox facilities in Massachusetts. New England recovery center has a very good detox and css program. I was there in 2020 during the height of the pandemic and I thought the staff were very professional and legitimately caring... It was also very clean.

Length of stay varies, based on the client and the treatment planning process. On average, most clients complete detoxification in four to six days, if needed, while inpatient treatment typically ranges from two to four weeks. The actual length of stay for each client is individually determined.
