(2012-2017I have been coming to chc for a little over 4 years. I really can't complain about any of the services. The sliding scale is equivalent to going to a private doctor. But the cost the labs,xray will be alot more in the private sector. The doctors at Apopka are wonderful. I have been to another location (winter garden) and was not treated well by the medical staff. The Apopka employees are very friendly. From the check in window, pharmacy, referral ladies, as well as the young lady that does the sliding scale applications. I can't forget to add the manager, whom if you have not had to speak to her, you wouldnt know who she is. She too is friendly helpful and thorough. So i am very thankful for CHC and the services that they provide to the community.

This place is literally the worst they don’t tell you how to do the phone appointments and then when you call no one answers and I was on hold for over an hour I honestly feel for the people that have to deal with them but I wouldn’t go here if I had a choice

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! I had an appointment scheduled 3 weeks out for my 20 week appointment and they already knew it was my first appointment prior to me coming and said I would see a doctor etc. The lady looks at me and says do you have proof of pregnancy??!?!?!?? I’m standing there with a belly poking even a blind person could see! And she tells me that I need to go to a pregnancy center down the street and go get proof that I’m pregnant. Then proceeded to tell me that I won’t even be able to see a doctor after I’ve already waited 3 weeks, drove 35 minutes and was told that I would see a doctor, she said oh you’ll have to see a nurse and they will determine if you can have an appointment…. A literal joke! I should have listened to the bad reviews on here, Don’t waste your time going here

If it is for the first time you have to go to the CHC. And ask what you have to do ... if you have already gone to another opportunity call by phone and make an appointment
The cost its fos scale. You apply fos scale cost depending you income.
Evening since this incident happened to you, my recommendation to you is to call the office of let them know that the voice automation is giving the incorrect information. I'm sorry for your inconveniences.
If you can make an appointment for a physical exam, and for vaccines.
That is within their wheelhouse. Call directly and schedule an appt
Good luck with those folks. You get what you pay for I reckon. I'm sitting in a hospital bed atm. Couldn't get them to actually assist me. Please take my word for it and explore other options.

They will set up a sliding scale....meaning if you qualify you can get your healthcare for little or nothing.
