This is a great city park conveniently right off the highway. The playground is large with lots of different things for kids to do here. There's also a large grass field and a shelter here. Plenty of seating and shade, which is a plus. However, the splash pad, restrooms, and water fountain were closed when we visited--otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

It was Wonder wonderful the restrooms were clean the picnic areas were nice they had electrical outlets and they weren't too crowded everybody had their old pavilion and was doing what they like to do also although the water park is down right now I understand that they're working on it but I'm just going to be patient on that part but yeah it was a nice friendly place family members went for walks in different sports it was really funny because everybody came back with a different story so everybody else seeked up see what they were watching at any rate the children love the park it was really nice and I couldn't believe the water spout in the middle of the sand playground but you know it was okay because it also leaves the place for the children to wash all the sand off or as much as they can before they go home to take a bath I also admire the bike group twin cities and also I learned that they have a area where it is just a dog park so that was pretty cool I think people riding bikes I seen people skating and I also think families getting together in The pavilions so yes we had a wonderful time thank you for asking

Wonderful, urban park right on the Mississippi River. Great time of year to visit, too; still some remnants of fall colors.

It's a good place to go for a walk or biking.
