This place has been around forever, and the decor proves it. I go there every year or so just to try it again. The fried rice... nothing more than white rice with soy sauce. No bean sprouts, onion, peas or anything. The generals chicken... I asked if it is crunchy they said they could cook it that way. The did! By over cooking it. Then they put the sauce on top. Way too much sauce. Couldn't even taste the chicken. In fact two pieces of chicken turned out to be pork. And I asked for bean sprouts on my fried rice. When served, the rice was plain rice. But the generals chicken had bean spouts in it. All cooked down with the sauce. I had ordered fried wontons and the m3at inside looked like shoe leather and had no taste. I ended up pulling it out and did not eat that part. I've had better food at a buffet. The server was nice but didn't know the difference between plum sauce and hot mustard. Hint! One of them is yellow. Tables are cleaned and 5hey provide sanitizer on each table. When you sit, then don't bring any of the common items out to you. We asked for noodles and instead of a bowl, we were given a small wax bag instead like it was take out. This will be my last time here.

I've eaten here many times over the years. I love the atmosphere for dine in as it's one of the few restaurants that doesn't blare music, so I can actually talk to my husband at dinner. These days we mostly get take out because we have a newborn at home, but the service has always been good and the food is always yummy!

I've been dining at Peking House for 20+ years. The best there is.

Worst food and worst wait staff of ever experienced. I will never ever go back there. It was awful. Absolutely awful. My chicken fingers had bones the rice was flavorless the sauce on my chicken fingers was basically ketchup and I will warn anybody that thinks it's good food, that it isn't. It might have been good once upon a Time but it is no longer a place that I would consider a restaurant that serves food. I was served swill. Not fit for an animal. Even a rat.

Best Chinese in town. Thats all that matters. Nobody cares about covid anymore.
Be sure to ask if they are cooking with vegetable broth when they make their vegetarian meals, depending on how strict your adherence is to total vegetarianism. I grew up in a Chinese restaurant and even though my father made "vegetarian" dishes, he used broth in the cooking process that had meat bones to make a more flavorful stock. If you order anything with a sauce or a gravy like vegetable chow mine, they will be using broth to make the gravy. You will be safer if you order something like vegetable fried rice because there is no sauce or gravy in that dish. And not to stereotype, but I already know from experience that the cooks either struggle with the language barrier or they can dismiss the request because I have yet to see Any regular chinese restaurants that carry vegetable stock as a cooking staple. All the soups are made with bone broth, so just because it's vegetable whatever, that doesn't mean the isn't bone based broth in it. Double check.
No, but it's the best Chinese food you'll find. It is a sit down restaurant or you can order take out.
Not a buffet, but large portions and the best Chinese around!!!
If I were you, I'd pick up a phone and call them.
They are not open on Mondays so I doubt it.
