FOOD POISONING. My bf, his sister and her husband all got food poisoning. My bf had to call out of work which means he didn't get paid. Our meal was $320 plus $60 tip. We tried resolving with the manager where Seito Sushi messed up, they said, "sorry" and that was it. Disappointed in Seito Sushi for not righting an easy one. Oh well. Better luck next time. Food poisoning August 27, 2022. There were 6 of us that ate, 4 of us got sick the next day, the two that didn't were my sisters 2 girls, they only ate edamame and none of the other food. I'd like to keep this short because who really reads these, right? My girlfriend and I asked my sister and her husband to dinner as well as their 2 kids (7 and 8 years old). My sister lives in Lakeland and I live in Jacksonville. I was looking forward to the experience as it was recommended by my boss and the experience was incredible, the food was amazing and we all loved it. The cost for the night, $320 for dinner (1 old fashion, bottle of sake, edamame, 3 truffle miso soups, CHEF'S PREMIUM SELECTION 5 piece chef tasting nigiri, CORONA roll, DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN roll, BEAUTY AND THE BEAST roll, KING TRUMPET MUSHROOM, 2 ube cheesecake, sticky toffee pudding, and a couple other rolls but don't recall the names) plus $60 tip (Kyle was out waiter). The next 24-48 hours were miserable, food poisoning, vomiting, headache, body aches. I had to call out of work (>$450). I called the restaurant to make them aware of the situation and they offered an apology and said they couldn't be certain it was their food. The only shared experience I had with my sister and her family was dinner at Seito Sushi and I explained this to the manager, TJ. Four of us got sick and the two that didn't only had the edamame. I asked the manager if he felt inclined to give us a gift card and he said no. I'm writing a review because Seito Sushi was in the wrong and I gave them an opportunity to make it right. Thank you for your time. Just asking for a favor. I reached out to Seito Sushi in regards to the food poisoning to only get an apology.

Whole body: chills, dehydration, dizziness, fatigue, fever, lightheadedness, loss of appetite, malaise, or sweating. Gastrointestinal: bloating, diarrhea, gagging, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, or stomach cramps. Also common: headache or weakness.
