Decent playground and very clean restrooms! Plenty of places to have a nice picnic and the splash pads are fantastic in the summer!

This was a great quiet lake to go for sunset kayaking session There's several nice places to kayak to such as the waterfall. Some cool wildlife were around as well. There is parking on 2 sides of the lake.

I started Kayaking during my lunch hours. During the week it is great. Love it. Weekends not so much. People leave trash everywhere, kids are screaming and lake starts to feel like apartment pool. If you want peaceful time go during the week.

4.5 stars This is a wonderful area to visit/play/hang out! The water pump and play area is my favorite!

Swimming beach is $8 for all..$4 for seniors. To play on water inflatable costs $10 more an hour...
You can swim in the designated swimming area. I would think this early in the season the lake is probably still chilly.
Yes! On the East side there are nice trails, and parking is free.
Nope not to kayak. If you want to go to their beach or rent kayaks then yes. Go online for reservations. But if you're bringing your own yak there's no fee or permit needed. Have fun.

If you have your own boat - soon they will open a new aquatic center that will rent water sports equipment. It is a no-wake lake.
There is no camping.
There is no beach but I have teens diving on top of rock. Many paddle surf boards. There is a beach at Shawnee mission Park.
