Fantastic place to go, except for the glass and beer cans that are legitimately EVERYWHERE. Still would suggest it for a good ol' time though!

Definitely a great place for a nice hike and amazing view of water/outdoors. Me and friends loved going/at times trying to get there. Trying at times because as I remember its illegal to swim or be in the water at all for that matter. I've seen friends get arrested just for being up there/on there way up. Nobody knows 100% what is exactly down in there. Definitely has to be some chemical's for sure. My Dad as a teen dove in and went as deep as he possibly could to try and see. And was shocked to see school buses cars an unbelievablebly a krane. Most definitely not good swimming water but younger kids dont care because they like the thrill of the big jump down.

My favorite place to go swimming with my friends on a hot day. Difficult to get to if you don’t enjoy walking through the woods but worth if for those who don’t mind. There’s cliffs from 20 to 60 feet to jump into the water for those who aren’t afraid. Only downside is the larger quarry of the two (higher jumps) is home to a good amount of aquatic life including leeches, so its best to stay at the smaller one if you are looking for more swimming.

No it's free to go up there but it's posted in lot of place's cause of the state prison owns lot of the land by the lower one . there a upper one just little ways up the trail that's really nice as well that is not trashed.

The spot that the directions lead you is private property. Is there a different way to get there? Also, where would be the best place to park? There seems to be no place to park.
