I used to love coming to this place but after my experience with Robin this evening I will not be back. I came in tonight a little before 6pm based on the hours here on Google the store should be open until 8pm. Robin was letting everyone know that the store was closing in 5 minutes. Fine, I got my stuff and went straight to the checkout. At the checkout I let her know that online the store hours are listed as 8pm. Her response back to me was very rude and continued to be rude so I left. I will be calling the manager.

What am amazing store! A family owned health food store with ready made foods, fruits, veggies, nuts, coffee, vitamins, supplements, almond & peanut butter. Even fresh press juices at reasonable prices. I was extremely impressed with the variety of food choices. Check my pics! Huge store check them out!!

Poughkeepsie store: Great selection. Excellent supplement section with discounts. Superb fresh vegan deli and gluten free bakery. High prices. Slow checkout. A big store and only 1 register open most of the time. When there are 7 people in line, they open another register. So there are maybe 8 to 10 employees on the floor and only 1 to check you out. UPDATE 3/35/19: Given that employee and antisemite William Sullivan allegedly harassed a fellow employee recently, and management told the victim to be quiet or get fired, I am knocking my review down to 1 star. This is an unsafe work environment because management is not protecting its employees. This applies to all stores in the chain, as this ultimately falls on upper management.

I love the store. The Kingston produce department is the best organic produce department in the area. Everything always fresh with a varied selection. Yes it is true that some items can be purchased for less in the big chains . I look at my budget and shop accordingly. One of the main reasons I try to purchase as much as I can at Mother Earth is to support local business. Mother Earth also purchases from local farms and companies. The bonus point program helps off set the price difference. As far as rude staff I have never encountered it. I find them helpful when I ask otherwise they leave you alone to shop without annoying you.
