This is a wonderful company! They embody why you should buy local. I am a school teacher and I was in need of some crates for my classroom. They were able to get me exactly what I needed and at a great price. If you are looking for recycled items, please check them out.

Josh was amazing and super helpful while getting whiskey barrels! Highly recommend them if you’re in the market for barrels or any other recycling/scrap needs!

I have been recycling at Berger's for many years . They've always been straightforward and fair with me , and never treated me "less than" , being a woman , as sometimes happens in businesses traditionally thought of as male-oriented . I live just a few blocks away so it's very convenient too . The employees there seem to enjoy their work , which is a good sign . And no matter how long or short my wait , there's always interesting stuff to look at . Glad to have such a place. Keep up the good work !

Today was the 3rd time at Berger Recycling. The gentleman on the loading zone assisted me in unloading the heavy wire. After all my wire was weighed I went to checkout. The women at the window was very nice and helpful also. If you are considering selling your scrap metal Berger Recycling is the place to go.

Great question, on low grade items there needs to be something of some value as a base component to be recycled and not land filled. If the filters have a decent % of metal then worst case we can take it at no value. The shop vac if all plastic is NG. There is a electric motor but buy the time you recover it and dispose of the waste it's not cost effective. I'd leave it on the curb and see if someone takes it to that. Let me know if you have other questions. Mr Berger
Nope so sorry not everything can be recycled, this is one of those areas
Yes they are both the same steel in price
Fisha Lika We have not seen him in a few years, last we know he was teaching in boston, he was from ethiopia and his place was to return home at some point and do more art there, is a great guy. (he is in the mural if you look carefully!)
