Unbelievably unprofessional. EVERY time. It does not matter who you speak to- expect to be talked down to and belittled by EVERYONE who you are in contact with here. Half the time they don’t have the answers to ANYTHING you need, even if it’s to direct you to a certain department (I’ve just been hung up on instead), and the other half of the time they’re degrading and condescending if they DO have the answers.

I have been trying to get a copy of my son’s birth certificate from vital records for close to two weeks since my initial request. They are closed for walk in service so it says to use the drop box option in the building which is to be checked daily. When I called a week later, the person who I spoke to said it was only received the day before. I called and left 2 messages; one for general inquiry & the other for the supervisor of vital records and still no call back. The recording states a call back should be expected within 24-48hrs. I suggest an update to walk in services or simply change the postings on the website & inside the building with accurate information. The processing time is very misleading. It would be nice to speak with someone to get an understanding of why it is taking 2 weeks for me to get my requested document.

I was exposed at work and told not to return until I get a negative PCR result. It's been six days with no results from the Rhode Island Department of Health! Today they said results still pending so they will "escalate" the result. They said they will call me today. No call. No answers SIX days later!

Everyone that works here always sounds like the most miserable person you could ever speak to. They are as unhelpful as they are incompetent with getting their jobs done. If they say they will get back to you, be assured that they in fact, will not. It’s sad that these people get paid with our tax dollars.

You can also call 211
You can now go to any pharmacy and get it done if that is of any help ..
I would call the RI DEPT OF HEALTH 1ST, ALSO THE TOWN IN WHICH YOU LIVE THE LOCAL SANITATION LAWS THAT MAY BE VIOLATED, ALSO THE RI DEPT OF ENVIRONMENTAL MGMT. THE NEIGHBOR MAY BE VIOLATING BOTH CITY & STATE LAWS. IF YOU HAVE TO TAKE LEGAL ON YOUR OWN DIME, IT COULD PROVE EXPENSIVE.
Any pharmacy, CVS or Walgreens. Make appt online. I found cvs faster to get the shot. You can make appt for same day
Make appointment with your primary care physician
Ii dont work there
It depends on your employer
Your doctor should be able to get you tested or refer you one
Every building's and companies have different rules and policies.
Walk in copy costs $22.00. By mail $25.00
What kind of Doctors? A Primary Care Doctor for your type2 diabetes and a Cardiologist for your heart? You don't say what you're health issues are that would want to make you re-schedule. I have type2 diabetes and a mechanical heart valve. I wouldn't re-schedule my appointments unless you have other reasons to do so.
Look online. I found I could renew my 5 year old license from their website. Didn't even need to go in for an eye exam or photo. You still have to pay though. I forgot how much.
Good morning Adriana. I believe you have to call the Department of Health then ask to speak with someone in the Board of Licensing department and ask to speak with someone in charge of Salons and Barber shops. I also believe you can go on line and file a complaint anonymously if you wish to be private? Have a Bless day ahead.
Contact Food Protection at 222-2749
The Department of Health does not handle child support cases or questions. You need to call the department of human services 458-4400
Do u know which division he worked at? I work at RIDOH for 11 years and i can find out for u
Sign a medical release form with your new doctor. He/she stands a better chance of getting your records. Doctor to Doctor.
No
Call your City's Minimum housing department. Most complaints fall under the jurisdiction of the building official. The department of Minimum. Housing inspector's division may be able to help you by pointing you to the inspector. It's called Code Enforcement in some municipalities. I was a minimum housing inspector for 14 years and I got rat complaints all the time. We can normally get the landlord's attention. And we have a court and can issue fines for non-compliance if we have to.
CCRI does have the food preparation certification
He needs to go in with his license to vital records to obtain a new birth certificate
No. You have to call a private environmental company. Doh may be helpful to ask. But the department of environmental management may be the best number to call as they know many air quality measurement companies.
No. There is no law that prevents someone from smoking in their own home.
