I received courteous comprehensive service from office staff to plumber. Armstrong is definitely "my" company for plumbing now. Mike came out for a second job. He was creative, clear, and suggested an affordable solution. I have people ask me for referrals all the time and Armstrong is my definite number 1

Having just purchased a home in Palmetto and down from PA for the first time to discover a slow draining sink. We did everything possible to resolve but then called Armstrong based on the reviews. To my excitement, Ray shows up for the appointment - Ray was HIGHLY recommended on many reviews. I experienced 1st hand why. Extremely professional, personable and knowledgeable. He resolved our issue, recommended some solutions to prevent future issues and requested we call him back if we experience the problem again in the short term. I will not call anyone else for any of my future plumbing needs in Florida …. My experience was that GOOD! Thank you, Ray!

This was my first time using Armstrong Bros. Plumbing and I will definitely be a return customer. The staff are easy to talk to and I was able to get service right away. The pricing seems to be really fair and their service professional (Ray) was the best. Super clean and helpful. I would recommend this company for sure!

I would highly recommend this company. We had used other plumbing companies in the past few weeks to get our sinks and garbage disposal installed after some countertop renovations. Other companies were professional but very expensive. Ray came today and installed the connections for two of our sinks and figured out what was wrong with our garbage disposal, that the other company never even mentioned to us that there was something wrong. He was very friendly and professional. He did a good job and did it in a very timely manner. I would recommend using this company and especially Ray if you are in need of any plumbing services. We will be using them again in the future.

A standard annual certification is only $30. Also, we have plumbers that are certified to repair or replace backflows, if yours fails a test or gets damaged. :-)
To clean your plumbing system is important to follow these maintenance suggestions. -Don't use any type of chemical drain cleaner on your pipes. -Remove clogs by plunging or snaking the drain. -Prevent Clogged Pipes by running cold water whenever you are using the garbage disposal and don't throw fat, oil, and grease in it. -Check for Signs of Water Leaks: look for sagging or bowing floors, walls, and ceilings, cracks in walls or ceilings, bad odors, and mold growth. -Always turn the individual water shut-off valves to keep them flexible and prevent corrosion build-up. - Remove sediments of the water heater at least once a year. - Check if nothing is obstructing or clogging your foundation floor drains.
The reason why you shouldn't fix your plumb by yourself is that you can end up damaging it even more. You can accidentally worse the drain clog by pushing it in even further, you can flood your kitchen, have your pipes burst and, last but not least, you will end up having unplanning expenses
The pipe material of your home will depend on your plumbing age An older plumbing system may be made off iron material and galvanized iron, while a modern house can have plastic pipes of several types used almost exclusively. The most common materials are: Cast iron for plumbing waste lines PVC (PolyVinyl Chloride) for plumbing waste lines Chromed brass for plumbing waste lines Chromed copper for water supply lines Galvanized iron for water supply lines Copper (rigid and flexible) for water supply lines CPVC (Chlorinated Poly-Vinyl Chloride) for water supply lines PEX (Cross-linked Polyethylene) for water supply lines Black iron for gas pipes
The most common plumbing problems are: Dripping faucets. Slow draining sink Clogged bath or shower drain. Clogged toilet. Running toilet. Faulty water heater. Low water pressure. Jammed garbage disposal. Leaky pipes. Sewer system backup.
The usual temperature for most water heaters is 140 degrees F, but the Department of Energy advises setting the temperature to 120 degrees to save energy.
Water heaters last about about 8 to 12 years.
The repair of the slab leak must be done by professionals because the integrity of the building structure depends on the preservation of the strength and integrity of the foundation, this type of leak may ruin that.
The best way to determine whether you have leaks in your plumbing is to check your water meter. Turn off all water and then check if your meter is running, if it is, you probably have a leak.
You can consider clogged drains, damaged pipes, and gas leaks plumbing emergencies.
Hydro jetting is a method used to wash the interiors of plumbing pipes with high-pressure water throughout a residence plumbing system. This procedure removes build-ups.
