Went to the playground many times over the winter and the kids loved it. Tried to go today August 17, 2022 overcast and rainy and there’s someone at the gate will not let you in this playground is off-limits unless you’re a city resident. I can understand the beach. But a playground come on.

My favorite park to visit with my toddler. We frequent this park for the playground, picnics, and the beach. The playground is entirely fenced and well maintained. There is play equipment for both toddlers and older children. The beach is always well maintained and since it is a bay beach, there is very little surf so it is perfect for little ones. At low tide it is not good for swimming as it is very mucky, but there are lots of little streams and sea creatures to explore in the mud. There is also a large grassy area perfect for picnics or running around and plenty of picnic tables spread around the park. I greatly appreciate that as a non-resident I have the ability to buy a beach sticker for this beach, which are very reasonably priced.

Very cute little park adjacent to the bay. There is ample parking, playsets for children, bathroom facilities and benches. I traveled to this location to catch the sunset on a cold evening. Park and bay were both clean and there is a very nice atmosphere. Great place to relax in the evening and catch a sunset with a scenic backdrop.

There is not free parking. Residents and non residents need stickers from town house
There is usually free parking after 4 p. It is a town beach so I don't believe dcr pass works. I only go after work as my office is very nearby
Stripper's, flounder, small shark's. Crabs clams, check on local law's on the clams.
No 4x4 section at Gray's Beach.
