No good deed goes unpunished. I called the place to donate 15 boxes of chicken in good condition because my supplier was overstocked. I told them I couldnt drive to drop them because I was driving an 18th wheeler and they were only 8 minutes away. Director was very rude when I spoke to her. I worked in non profits before and never seen this type of behavior. It could have taken them 30 minutes of actual labor to take them but obviously they are too comfortable.

Very helpful. Due to COVID, you pull up, tell them how many in your family, and they put bags of food in your car. Simple.

This organization is not the place to go if you are a woman or a family in need. I suggest strongly that you go to Father Bill's & mainspring. I know from personal experience. 3 years ago I lived at the Coalition and they intentionally put DCF in my life for absolutely no reason I was in the middle of my chores and my daughter was ten feet away from me in her car seat and I could see her the entire time and they said that I was being negligent. If I didn't do my chores I would have gotten written up and I would have gotten kicked out. Dcf is no longer involved. But that changed the course of my life for absolutely no reason other than a powertrip. The volunteers take all the donations that people give people daily, Pick favorites, they speak in appropriately, with the clients ,they break HIPAA all the time, they don't help you succeed, they don't teach you any coping skills. They make you feel like you are less than, especially SUE. she thinks eveeyone is trying to work one over on her and milk the System.I juat recently have needed help with moving and i called the coalition for assistance for furniture for my new home (beccause theyre suppose to supply that 211 says so ....................) & She completely misquote 2 my case worker saying i was asking for $!!!!!!! π I strongly strongly suggest that you go to Father Bill's & mainspring in Plymouth and you ask to speak to Caroline Sullivan she's a main case worker and she's a miracle worker she got me in mrvp Grant and I was part of the moving on program I know have my own apartment!

I reached out for Christmas assistance and the woman I spoke to was very nice and helpful. She helped me apply for presents, christmas dinner help as well as giving me a box full of Thanksgiving food. Sometimes it's hard to ask for help but they made me feel welcomed and comfortable.

Call them. They are very nice.
The food pantry there would love them. The main building is open all the time so you could drop them off any time. Thanks
Not sure if they can take car seats but its worth a call to ask.
They are a food pantry and a family shelter they don't have that
