The ER was awful. 7.5 hrs total. I think the worst part was the triage nurse was laughing with another nurse and said and I quote “ we have so much staff on tonight, it’s gunna be a great night!” Yet it took more than 6 hrs to get in. I suffer from really bad sciatica pain. But not the reason I was in the ER. Yet after sitting in a chair for so many hours it was so inflamed, I begged for them to allow me to lie down somewhere and not sit in a chair anymore. I saw many open beds when I went to the bathroom, yet they refused to accommodate me and made me sit in a chair in the hallway while I received fluids. I ended up crawling down on the floor to relive the pain. Again I asked to please lye down. So they put pain reliever in my iv. I left at that. That is not what I wanted.

In my opinion, the emergency room at this hospital provides substandard care and employs staff that are verbally and emotionally abusive to patients. It was one of the worst experiences of my life. Please don't put yourself through it. Don't risk your health; I found them to be totally incompetent. I highly recommend Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston and the BIDMC in Boston. They can call it Beth Israel if they want to and trade on Boston's reputation, but this hospital will never live up to the standard the name implies.

I delivered my son here on 3/27/22. Besides one nurse names Theresa and the Anesthesiologist every other person was absolutely amazing and accommodated my pain, feelings, and needs. I couldn’t have done my birth without my amazing midwife Louise. Seriously. She was so gentle and kind and generous and pushed me to bring my son into this world when I didn’t think I could. I am so blessed and thankful for her! I’m so glad I decided to give birth here instead of at Cape Cod Hospital. I wouldn’t trade my midwife for the world. She was absolutely AMAZING!

Too bad you can't do negative stars.. This ER is disgusting, dirty, and a joke. The staff are all completely rude. Doctors and nurses are the worst I have seen. The nurse took my IV out with one finger completely ripped out of her glove from her nails. Touched my arm and blood with that exact finger, I was mortified. They treat everyone there as if they are looking for pain pills...even when your scans come back with an infection, they don't care. This place should be shut down.

It's invite only if you are a patient since January 2018. I'd call 211 to find an appointment through the state
Yes
If you have health issues that are not major. If you have many comorbidities a community hospital is not the place for you or anyone else with complicated health issuess.
Yes it is, not sure about the process of getting one. I would call the hospital to ask specific questions, they will be very helpful, they always are helpful
Lots of construction an the area you want to go in has a covid 19 testing their so have to go in a different way
I don't know, but honestly I'd steer clear of this place.
Sorry, no I don't.
They are asking if you have a temperature or other signs do NOT go to visit.
Bone density is located in Radiology. Best place to park would be in parking lot A and then go into the Urann lobby. Once in the lobby, go straight down and it's on your right.
Hi Michael - The best way is to take Route 93 to Route 3. BID Plymouth is exit 5. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Best, Deb
Not sure, but can get you sent into Boston
Please call BID-Plymouth's Cranberry Hospice and Palliative Care number at 508-746-0215. Thank you

Hi Nancy - I'm not sure I understand your question. Do you mind clarifying it a bit more? Thank you.
Hi Sandra - Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth is a member hospital of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Not sure if Dr. Davis works in Plymouth at times. You would need to ask him/her. Thank you
Hi Gail - We don't have set visiting hours. We have an open door policy. Hope that helps. Deb Schopperle
Please contact BID-Plymouth's volunteer department at 508-830-2075. Thank you.
In front of main hospital building[the bldg is on your left as you drive in], there are 2 smaller lots, with 2 larger lots in front of those.

Hi Nancy, we do not have an Urgent Care Center. Our Emergency Department is open 24/7 and Plymouth Medical Group's (PMG) Urgent Care Center at Cordage Park is open 9am-7:3pm during the week and 9am-5pm on the weekends.
You should bring any and all insurance that you are covered under. It will help make checking in easier, with less questions 😉
Hi Brooke - We do for 17 year olds and above. Thank you, Deb
