Such an incredible spot in Jamestown with sweeping views of Narragansett Bay and the open ocean to the south. You can walk on the large rocks and jump in, but be careful!

Great place to go for a walk by yourself or with friends or family. Amazing views of the bay stretching out into the Atlantic Ocean. Lighthouse is very well kept and has a museum and even a small aquarium for the kids. The original foundation of the original lighthouse circa 1750-1760s I believe, is still intact. Unfortunately the original lighthouse was burnt down by the British during the Revolutionary period. Either way there are so many cliffs to behold and views of sail boats passing by.

Beavertail is one of my favorite places to be. The salt air and sounds of the ocean waves crashing on the rocks is soothing to say the least. I usually stay for hours.

I found this place by accident. I went to Jamestown to visit somewhere else and happened upon this place. I am so glad I did. I want to go back and spend more time there seeing how it was absolutely fridged when I was there. Love the light house, and the scenery was gorgeous.

Open sunrise to sunset. Beautiful sunsets
You could picnic in the whole park no fires though there are public restrooms and you can walk the whole park it's a very beautiful area there's a lighthouse there you can walk down by the water near the Rocks but you can stay there all day there's plenty of parkin
Yes, large field there along with a free aquarium for the kids
Yes. They are the best port a potties I've ever encountered. They always have toilet paper and hand sanitizer. They are large and handicap accessible.
Yes no bike paths but 1 way road for vehicles..
Park closed at 10pm
Park hours are Sunday through Saturday 7am to 10pm
No one is really around to tell you not too
It was not open when I went last weekend (today is May 21st)
White it does, technically, close after sundown, I have been there late nights fishing. There are no gates and I have never seen anyone asked to leave by police or Parks Services. There are a lot of people who go to look at the night skyline, watch sunsets, and night fish. As for RV's, I believe that you have to get a permit to park for any extended period longer than a day.
You can put up a basketball at canopy, but you can't put up a canopy at basketball.
Yes you can. Easy in, easy out, all paved road. You'll probably like the second parking area just before the lighthouse. It's the largest parking area, has grass and excellent for RVs. Have fun
No. You can enjoy a picnic lunch Though no alcohol, just be discrete and no one will bother you. The view is fabulous.
You dont need a date to get married at Beavertale outdoors Anyone can go there to get married I've been to plenty of wedding ceremonies there then we go to a reception elsewhere!
There are places you can climb down to at low tide, but since wet rocks are slipery, I suggest not doing so at high tide. You see the baths if you walk around on the road. Paths do not have steps or guard rails so be careful.
