Barnyard Zoo

Always nice to stop by this miniature zoo at Green Hill Park. Although tiny, it brings a smile to my face every time. Peafowl, miniature donkeys and horses, goats, pigs, pheasants, and a few more animals can be found. Great spot for young children. Keep an eye out for the ladybugs painted in various spots around the zoo! There's a playground a short walk from the zoo. Before going, please be aware there is no feeding the animals.

I only saw one worker there that was a young man Not very social just seems like he was in a hurry to get back into the office I could remember when they were very knowledgeable and very visible Nobody around and no interaction with the people Where are the rangers or the people that run the facility? Need more people that are willing to talk or teach the young children about the animals If they are looking for people like that I would do it

I love coming here when their hours are open. It's a wonderful escape and feels very healing to be around all the animals. They have a great variety of species: pheasants, peacocks, sheep, goats, alpaca, mini horses, donkeys, and chickens. There is also a super sweet barn cat there that is so friendly and cuddly, sometimes I come just in hopes to see him walking around, he's a total cutie. It's also free! Wonderful place to bring young kids or if you need a little animal therapy. I feel instantly filled with joy every time I visit this place.

Free!! Hours are kinda silly, but fun if you can make it here in the brief times that they are open. Turtles, chickens, pigs, elpacas, pheasants, ponys and goats.
