Burncoat Park

There is no beach access and I would not recommend swimming in that water. There are, however, pockets of open areas where you could squeeze a kayak.

As far as I'm aware, there has never been vehicular access to the park for the public. The access roads are just for service and maintenance vehicles; mowing and trash pickup, and so forth. Public activity at the park consists of foot traffic. Vehicles in the park would endanger the people walking and playing there. If you drive down Belvidere street, you'll find plenty of curbside parking available next to the park on that side. There is also parking adjacent to Wawecus school 's parking lot, right next to the park, and a small turnaround/lot on the side of the park that abuts the connector road between Burncoat st and Lincoln St., right across from the Hanover Insurance campus. Access from any of these parking places is easy.
