I had a wonderful dinner at The Old Canteen last weekend. Our table wasn't ready when we arrived so we sat at the bar first and ordered drinks. Bar was cozy with a lot of people, so we had to wait a few minutes for barstools to be come available. Drinks were excellent and ample. Our food was lovingly prepared and excellent, and the servings were surprisingly large. Broccoli rabe was perfection. I definitely recommend the restaurant, however be prepared for a long leisurely meal and a fairly pricey meal tab if you include appetizers in your order. Valet parking available and recommended.

Wonderful simple old world Italian dining. Service was top notch, everyone was very friendly and wasn't just helpful, they make you feel at home. The atmosphere was very relaxing and classy. The food was superb, made exactly the way you want it. They are more than happy to do special requests. It's no wonder there were 3 birthday celebrations tonight (that I know of). Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for top notch classic Italian cuisine.

Friendly staff, cute cozy place. The menu is extensive. I am 100% Italian, first generation in America. I visit Italy as I have family there, my first language learned was Italian. My parents speak Italian at home...just to give you an idea of my italian authenticity. The selection on the menu here is authentic Italian dishes such as smelts, melon with prosciutto, tripe, frog legs, pasta with garlic and oil, osso buco....again an EXTENSIVE menu of AUTHENTIC Italian dishes. I rate the food a 4 out of 5. If you want an idea of how dishes are in italy, give this place a try.

Loved the old school ambience of this place... The 5 course dinner can't be beat for the price. We started with bread (of course) & salad after our drink , then pasta fiigoli soup for us both, main course of eggplant parmesean for me & chicken parmesean for my granddaughter with a side of zucchini for us both then desert, jello for her & a delicious vanilla ice cream dish with jimmies and some sort of sauce served in a warm dish for me. All of this food for $52, $20 for drinks, I got out of there for under a $100 with tip included! Plus we both came home with leftovers! I have to add that the service was excellent, definitely 5 stars! Will definitely be back 💖

They had a Saturday lunch special when I was there. About $15 for soup, bread, selected entrees, coffee, and jello/ice cream
Tables are very openly spaced by a minimum of 6 ft.. Staff is masked at all times and not just chin bibbed. Depending on who the valet is mask compliant
No online reservations. Just phone
If you wear jeans, dress it up with a nice too. I wouldn't wear sneakers
Closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day. Open our Christmas Eve and New Years Eve.
No, while it may be encouraged it's not required. A nice long sleeve button up is good enough
No not really, but depending on the size of your party you can basically have one section of the place
No
I believe so.
