Piecemeal Pies

We decided to have lunch at the Stowe location. The atmosphere is great and the food is even better! We had three different pies (Lamb, chicken and beef), as well as the mashed potatoes and gravy. The gravy is a must! We also had elderflower lemonades and incredible blueberry buckle muffins. Incredible! Delicious, satisfying and a must if you love great food!

I work close by and want to go to Piecemeal Pies often. I like the food and support their tipping model — however, their hours are frustrating. They are rarely open when I want to eat there. Can't get a coffee and pastry before work, only open 3 days during the week for lunch only. I usually forget they're even around since they're so rarely open. They do seem strapped for staffing and that could be the problem... I ate there once and the chair outside I was sitting on was really old and collapsed. My table and food fell over, and nobody inside cared. I had to bring the broken chair inside myself and clean everything up on my own. When I brought the chair inside the counterperson said, "yeah, that happens," with zero sympathy or help. Nice pies tho!

Love this spot! Delicious savory pies and pastries of all kinds. Great location and setting. Sometimes busy, but there's always at least one spot open;) This nice brunch spot adds gratuity to your ticket and splits it among all staff (kitchen and baristas).

Update: went back for a pie, it was good, and the salad was amazing. The coffee was much better (I got hot instead of iced this time so idk if that makes a difference) I will be back for sure 🙂 Food was very good, however the coffee had grounds in it but were slightly watery and not sweet at all. We will give them another try but hoping the coffee is better.
