AVOID AT ALL COST!! Absolutely terrible customer service! My boss had 3 rooms booked for the night last night, as it ended up I was the only one needing to stay. I thought it was booked under his name but it wasn’t (also wasn’t under mine, but a couple of the others who were supposed to stay). Since they couldn’t find my bosses name, I gave “Mike” a confirmation number. He repeated there was nothing under my bosses name and then got extremely mad and said I was calling him a liar. I was more than shocked when he started literally shouting at me, a guest, with a valid reservation, that he was just unable to locate in his computer! He didn’t know how to look up a confirmation number and refused to call a manager or anyone who could fix the issue. He then proceeded to yell more, actually threatened to put his hands on me, and ultimately called the police because I wouldn’t leave… I had no where to go, with 3+ hour drive home and it was after 1am. I was unable to get in touch with my boss, so ultimately I left and ended up sleeping in my car! My boss called this morning and was met with a very rude manager who ultimately did confirm that there were 3 rooms waiting for us! This “Mike” kept saying there were no check in’s for the day, but that’s wrong because it was confirmed there were 3 rooms, that they had the audacity to say we’re “no shows” . Absolutely unbelievable! You’re supposed to be in the hospitality business?? What a joke..more like nightmare! AVOID AT ALL COST!!

Beware of this hotel. The bad reviews about cleanliness are true. The smell upon entering the room should have given the story away. We had beer cans under the bed, someone else's clothes still in the dresser, hair in the shower and used soap still in the shower as well. The carpet was filthy, couldn't take your shoes off. Counters and nightstand were dirty. Thankfully, the sheets seemed clean so we could at least sleep. If you told me that it cost $85 to stay here, I would have expected this but we spent $145. Read the reviews before you purchase. I should have taken them to heart and spent another $50 to stay at a better place. I'll never be back to this place again.

Positive: The front desk clerk was very nice. And I was able to bring my small chihuahua. Negative: The room smelled bad. The first room we were assigned to had openings all around the door and when the lights went on the bugs - mosquitoes and moths were able to get in. We asked for a different room on the first floor and was accommodated. Same smell.

Should have read the reviews before I booked this place. It is very dated, needs a LOT of updating. Although there was nothing glaringly dirty, it did not feel particularly clean. Very old and musty smelling. The staircase and hallway leading to the second level is filthy. The TV worked, the internet worked but it's not secure. The AC worked great the first 2 nights, the 3rd night it took a little longer to cool the room. The bed was never made and the second day nobody came to the room at all, not even to empty the trash. 2 nights in a row I came back to my room after 10 pm, only to find the key card didn't work. I had to go back downstairs and outside to the office to get it fixed. The 2nd night the woman didn't even bother apologizing for the inconvenience. Like others have said, if you just need a place to lay your head, this place will do, but it's not a motel I will return to. Wouldn't recommend it to a woman alone.

They have mostly queens or double queens, but I am fairly certain thru had kings as well.
There is Walden pond nearby, but it's doubtful you'd be able to hear loons from the hotel.
