Sloooooow, only one person serving, repeating everything slooowly and it's insane how long it takes. It's all manual, even though information is already on file. And no excuses pr attempts to speed up. More than an hour and still waiting.

Princeton, NJ location was run-down. It was busy. We had to wait in line. Ilona, the only person at the desk, was doing a valiant job, but the cars available weren't good. We had been told we'd have one kind of car but got another. The first car had a dead battery so had to get another.

Avis saved my vacation when Hertz called me 24 hours before my pickup to tell me they didn't have a car for me. Avis had a car, and was amenable to switching when the first car I was assigned smelled of smoke. Then, I had no problems or additional charges dropping off at Logan instead of the Charles. I am very grateful for how easy Avis made the process, and we will be switching to Avis after renting from Hertz for 25 years.

I would advise not renting from this location. I have tried using this location three times now. Every time, there is a line and a single person at the desk. I feel bad for them because their system is always running at glacial speeds. Even if you have Avis Preferred and have prepaid, you will not get through here in less than 20 minutes (on pickup AND return) Dear Avis, I see you are quick to post apologies in response to these frustrations. Apologies are cheap... Instead, actually fix the issues! At least put in a Preferred electronic kiosk for fast checkout...
