The food was pretty good and the ambiance was nice. But the waitress forgot to put in our small plates. We ordered raw oysters and two small plates shortly after sitting down. The oysters came on time but the small plates came 40 minutes later, just less than 5 minutes before our meal. We had given up on them and were just going to ask for them to come off the bill but she must’ve remembered when she put in our main course. Also, the menu is quite limited, but when we showed up there was even less than was shown online. Plus, the $75 olive oil cake with caviar is excessively unnecessary… so eh, overall there’s lots of beautiful seafood places to eat around here so I’m not sure if I’d risk it again.

My wife and I ate dinner here for the first time and it was delightful. The ambience is cozy and feels like a restaurant you’ve been going to since you were a kid. The staff were kind and attentive and after having an unfortunate chowder spill on my phone and wallet, they put our whole bill on the house. The manager came out and met with us personally to apologize and even offered to pay for a cleaning service for the wallet in addition to comping our bill. It was incredibly kind and we will definitely be back to this awesome place! Food service and ambience were a 10/10!

Tried Winsor House for first time last night. Very, very busy with multiple rooms for dining. Even though we had 5:15 reservation we were told outside dining was full. Sat in the small raw bar area. Very loud rock music was playing via speakers. Kind of a strange menu with only 8 entrees. Most meals came with no starch or veggies. We were charged $5 for two pieces of bread. Since they are owned by an oyster farm company, you would think they would offer more oyster options. A few entre's had 2-3 pieces of fried oysters which were deilcious. They should definately offer a fried oyster plate on the menu. Also they add a 8% sucharge for non server staff. No other restaurant does this that I'm aware of. Wine by the glass selection is weak but the wine pour is ok. Not skimpy or over generous. My $34 halibut was very good but only came with dandelions and onions in a nice sauce. We each had a drink and glass of wine, and one french fry appitezer and the bill was $140. Seems pretty high for what we got. Not sure we'll be going back. I will admit, this restaurant does seem popular with the locals.

Loved everything. Had Chowder, sliders. Driveway clams, Scallops dish and fresh Oysters are all amazing. Great drinks. Nice different wines. Great service. And the chocolate cake was soo good.
