Great place to kayak, especially for novice paddlers, no wake zone. Beautiful scenery, gators, turtles, osprey and more wildlife. Lots of parking, use second entrance when coming from Punta Gorda, it's for kayakers.

Very nice creek to paddle. Covered picnic area with shade & Porta Potties (clean, but full). Always watch for fire ants.

Heading north on Shell Creek. Only 4.6 miles are open. Big blockage at the 5 miles mark. Fallen Oak.

It's fresh....goes into shell lake at least that's what I was told

The canoe ramp that is off limits in the park, will it be repaired or not

Yes they have plans to re-do the canoe/ kayak launch.

No room for RV's but there is on street parking you may. Be able to take up a few spots to fit your RV
