An anticipated day of making our "final funeral arrangements" turned into a fun planning session all due to our sales lady's upbeat and very pleasant personality -- Jennifer Phillips. My husband and I had stalled for years not wanting to face this gloomy task. However, we were pleasantly surprised to meet this charming young lady who brightened up our meeting room and immediately put us at ease. She very competently and succinctly communicated to us our burial options; and, nicely and thoroughly answered our many questions. Jennifer then proceeded to provide a golf cart orientation tour of the cemetery which helped immensely with our burial's final location. We were actually laughing and making light of this "grave" decision -- we had the best time in spite of our age differences -- we feel as though we have known her forever. All-in-all, Jennifer was most instrumental in helping us to reach a comforting funeral resolution. Our dreaded day turned out to be a day of relief as we now definitely know the whereabouts of our final resting place. But, most importantly, our children will not have to emotionally make this decision. We owe this easily made decision to Jennifer's wonderful empathetic and caring personality -- and, if we were still in the work force, we would definitely want Jennifer on our team. My experience with Sylvan Abbey Funeral Home was beyond exceptional. Indira Carlo Lugo was so kind and able do anything I asked for. The room was so spacious and beautifully decorated. Everyone who attended said it was the nicest celebration of life and that it really paid a wonderful tribute to my Father. The catering by stuffed mushroom was amazing and their staff were very professional and helpful. There was a large verity to choose from for catering options. I would definitely say that Sylvan Abbey Memorial is a wonderful place with great staff that makes the hard time much easier.

Indira listened to our requests and followed through. She was compassionate and caring. Joel was very much the same. The whole process was very smooth, everyone involved was sincere and professional. Joel helped me get my plot and cremation taken care of. Was his first to use the new system, learning curve for all, but we did it. Number 1 funeral service for me. Excellent staff through out and awesome cemetery.

Exceptional experience from the time I walked into the front door. We did preplanning with Michael Zurn which made the things so much easier for me. I was assigned Carrie Orozco (Funeral Director) who stayed with me through the whole process of planning the service, cemetery and reception. Sylvan Abbey utilizes an outstanding caterer and florist if you choose. The added bonus was working with Hayley Markowski (Event Manager) who set up a beautiful vignette with all the items I brought from home. I hope the attached pictures do it justice! I was even able to purchase koozies and keychains through Sylvan Abbey. They handled everything for me!
