I have found a very good Primary Doctor here. It is also nice that they have Lab testing on the spot.

They set me up with an appointment for 12:30 for another one of their facilities in Latham (20-30) minutes away) because the Delmar office doesn't do covid tests. Whatever, same story as last Tuesday. So I get here. Apparently now that I'm here for my appointment for my covid test I need to call my doctors office so they can give me an order to go in even though I have an appointment here. So I sat on hold for a bit with my doctor's office because the office is closed. So it gets rerouted to someone remote that can't help me with anything. I guess they're closed for lunch until 1 pm. And I have to wait another 15 minutes after I've already waited 15 minutes after my appointment to go get tested. So they're either intentionally wasting my time, or just don't understand how their own laws and practices work. And I'm not sure which is worse.

Although my initial experience with a doctor and their nurse was good, my subsequent experiences clearly indicate that Community Care prioritizes its employees over its patients’ care. Instead of my doctor simply calling me back about an issue I had with the bill I received, I had an unnecessary conversation with that doctor’s PA that ended with them explaining that the doctor would be calling me back within a couple days. But instead of that ever happening, I received a letter in the mail several weeks later indicating that not only was I being dropped, but that Community Care implicitly approved of the action being taken. These are not the actions of quality health care providers.

Just tried to make an appointment. I was told my doctor is on vacation (or away) for the next month. I asked to see another doctor and was told I could not see another doctor, but I could make an appointment with a PA. This didn't make me happy. Why can't other doctors in this office cover for each other? Nothing wrong with PA's, but I should be able to see a doctor for something that could be life threatening. Receptionist didn't seem concerned when I said that I would be looking around for another practice if I can't see another doctor, so I guess I'll start looking.

A few years ago, CCP transferred the gyms over to CDPHP, and they became CDPHP Fitness Connect locations. They are not under the management of CCP anymore. However, we know there is no plan to reopen the facilities at this time.

The lab opens at 7am and closes at 4:30pm. They can only draw for CommunityCare patients.

We do, however none of the female MD's are currently accepting new patients. We do have two NP's (Ellen Regal NP, & Carmen Cardinale NP) and a PA (Elisa Hennessy PA) that are seeing new patients all three are female. We also have a new male PA, Olin Callaghan PA accepting new patients.
They do not do walk-ins. You must make an appointment.
Yes they are and so far i am very impressed with them.
