Very nice place, we took some of our wedding photos there. Different birds are present!

Feast of the Flowering Moon festival in Yoctangee Park is definitely at the top of the must see list in Chillicothe. Such beautiful dances and stories. Tons to eat and buy if that is what you are after as well. I love this beautiful park for so many reasons and the festivals here are added bonuses.

Stopped by Yoctangee Park in Chillicothe after the first measurable snowfall of the year. Very beautiful with everything covered in snow.

We visited the Chillicothe Halloween Festival at this park. The park itself is beautiful. The festival was a lot smaller than we had anticipated after driving an hour to get there but we had a good time. Lovely atmosphere!

No idea. That is weird. You might want to call Parks and Recreation office about that.
I don't know for certain about the legality/permission but I have seen it on some areas of the pavement so would think as long as it's not obscene or otherwise disruptive they look the other way at the very least.
Looks like it'll be Mar 31, 2018 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM | Saturday
Only Sundays
There is cardboard recycling bins in the park across from the main baseball diamond.
Yes sir every year. Used to be alot better though.
I believe you have to reserve pavilions, but if you just want to use the open space you can go anytime
3 months ago the woman kayaking was doing with permission for a park cleanup. Normally you are not allowed.
$5 per adult and $4 per child. I believe they are open 12-9 M-Sat and 1-8 Sunday....
Yes
Yes but sometimes they are locked for no specific reason or time. There are a couple fountains. It is one of the nicest parks I've ever seen. There are 2 bathroom stations, 1 on each side of the park.
None of the other lakes mentioned are in Ross County, but they are all within 35 miles (Deer Crk & Lake White are within 25 miles) Besides the small lake in Yoctangee Park, there is Ross Lake, a few miles outside the city. There are two lakes at Scioto Trail State Park, approximately 10 miles south of the city. There is also a large lake at Paint Creek State Park, but it is in extreme S/W Ross Co., 20+ miles from the city of Chillicothe. I hope that this is helpful!
Im not sure of info on park. I would think the historical society would have info on the park
You go to the pool office and you can reserve them and if it hasn't changed there is no cost.
No. The park closes at dark except during special events. Like the 4th of July.
Yes. Depending on the species there is a size limit. Follow the Ohio laws.
