These cottages are a perfect example to replace the brick and mortar facilities. Its the best kept secret in elder care. Reminds me of a retirement community in Florida. I could not be more excited for my husband in his new home

Administration does not care except for money way over charging self paying elders terribly matching elders in there houses elders with severe demenia wondering in hallways and other elders rooms urinating and pooping on the floor the place is way under staffed some elder families donate money to the workers helping there elders as appreciation but managment take the money to themselves administration is all about fake values and just making things look good on paper freshly cooked meals of the worst and the cheapest food material staff is very stressed overworked underpaid the place looks nice on the outside they have good gadgets good technology bad inside the houses everyone is miserable elders and the staff helping them

My mother is in memory care and the building she is in is nice clean modern well kept. The staff is outstanding friendly nice compassionate hard workers know a lot about all the residents. Gourmet food is great. Usually just enough for each resident to feel full. They are such hard workers and have so much to do they don't have the extra time for special detail of each resident, like making sure they are dressed properly in the AM assisting with clothing hooks buttons etc. She has vision & hearing issues and the tv in the room where all gather for most events on tv she doesn't pay attention to because its too small to see from the seating. I noticed the volume was raised the last time I was there for people in the back row to hear also. I thought a movie screen would be more appropriate for the room size and the older age residents. Outside is nice too as long as you don't have to park next to the berry trees which berries fall all over your car on the sidewalks and ground and you have to step on them not avoidable if you need that parking area.

They do not provide transportation to off site appointments. They do have a bus they occasionally use for on site transportation or house activities.
It is a nursing home level facility. So you do not go there just for rehab but if you are a resident of the facility then when you come home from a hospital they would provide your rehab services.
Eddy Village Green is only long term nursing care. They do not have a rehab facility.
Down the hill (going to the left leaving the greenhouses) there is Pops pizza, keep going straight and on your left is the Sub Stop. If you pass that you will come to a traffic light, turn left and keep going straight you will come around a corner, right around that corner there is Mick's pizza and Pizza Stop "I know a lot of pizza out here". But pass those restaurants and you have Spindles which is more of a market but they make sandwiches and there's a chinese restaurant and sushi around the corner from there.
